15 states involved in milk lawsuit refund

In addition to MI, consumers in 14 other states and the District of Columbia are entitled to a portion of the $52 million settlement which covers milk products that were purchased from 2003 to the present.

California residents who have purchased milk at any time since 2003 are eligible to receive cash as part of a $52 million class-action settlement with major U.S. dairy producers.

The lawsuit was spearheaded by the animal protection group Compassion over Killing.

Other states included in the settlement are: Arizona, California, the District of Columbia, Kansas, Massachusetts, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, Oregon, South Dakota, Tennessee, Vermont, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
