Xiaomi set to launch Redmi Note 4X on Valentine's Day

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X is set for an official release on Valentine's Day, latest reports coming from China can confirm. It may launch it as early as next week, on February 14 to be precise. Surprisingly, Xiaomi had launched the higher end versions of the device first and the version now being launched is the lower end version. Unlike the recently launched Redmi Note 4 (India), the rumored Redmi Note 4X will come with a new Snapdragon 625, same as what the recent 2017 model came in with. So did its probable spec-sheet courtesy certification website TENAA. The two devices share a number of other specs as well, the Redmi Note 4X will be available in 3GB and 4GB RAM variants which will ship with 32GB and 64GB of storage, respectively.

It would be far above Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, which only mounts a MediaTek Helio X20 with 2 or 3 GB of RAM, accompanied by 16 or 64 GB memory. The storage will be expandable thanks to microSD storage. It comes with a 5.5-inch FullHD IPS display with a 1080p resolution and curved 2.5D glass. The smartphone was previously rumoured to come with a deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 processor.

The dualSIM phone runs Android Marshmallow-based MIUI 8 out-of-the-box and supports 4G LTE (and VoLTE-ready).
