Riverdale Recap Who Framed Forsythe

The recasting is taking place as actor Ross Butler, who played the role in the first season, is busy with other projects, reported Entertainment Tonight.

One viewer who wasn't that enthralled with "13 Reasons" is singer/songwriter Zara Larsson, who spoke with ET Canada's Sangita Patel about the social media backlash she faced when she criticized the Netflix series for "romanticizing revenge suicide".

Hearts are breaking across Riverdale High today.

From Netflix's perspective, of course, it's easy to understand returning to the 13 Reasons well.

A report by TVLine states that 13 Reasons Why is "a lock to get a Season 2 pickup", and here's why.

As it turns out, Reggie is set to have more of a presence in the new episodes and because of scheduling conflicts, Ross won't be able to film when the show needs him.

"[Next season], we want more Reggie on our show - he's Archie's rival! - and because Ross is unavailable to come back to 'Riverdale, ' we're looking for a new Reggie", Aguirre-Sacasa said.

Rumors are rife that Netflix's dark anthology is already getting a renewal for second season. In an interview with the outlet, Sacasa remains hopeful that they may find a suitable actor who can fill Butler's shoes.

The final 3 episodes of the season will be kicking off on 27 April, and will see Archie trying to cheer up his classmates at Homecoming by putting on a show - with Veronica by his side.

Over on Riverdale, Ross Butler has had a relatively minor role as Reggie, a rival of Archie's and a fellow member of the football team.

"Undercover" each season, so it really doesn't seem like those two possible obligations would be reason enough for him to leave "Riverdale".

Although no official announcement of a second season has been forthcoming, executive producer Selena Gomez recently said that any future episodes would go beyond the original story: "We know there are so many stories that lie beneath each character".
