New 'Firework' Oreo hits store shelves

If you aren't a fan of syrup or waffles, the company also has another new flavor called "Firework Oreos" that has sweets similar to Pop Rocks in the creme.

Oreo has in recent years gained attention with the release of limited-edition flavors such as Oreo DQ Blizzard Creme, Brownie Batter, Birthday Cake, Candy Corn and Watermelon.

The newest Oreo flavor is... drumroll please...

Looking forward to its next product, Oreo is asking fans to pitch their creations.

In 2018, the company will produce and sell three finalist flavors, and the top victor gets $500,000 and a trip to NY. You'll like it if you like popping candy.
