LeBron James calls his pursuit of Michael Jordan a 'personal goal'

The Boston Celtics need a victory here in order to force a game six on Saturday.

Through four games one thing has been made clear, the Cavaliers will not struggle if they are driving into the paint with success. This attempt was made more hard when star guard Isaiah Thomas left Game 2 with a hip injury. The game also saw Thomas lose one of his teeth during a play and he spent the next few days with a swollen mouth following a couple of multi-hour dental procedures. It brought his season to an end. But whether the Celtics take Fultz or the other candidate for the top spot, UCLA star Lonzo Ball, both prospects play Thomas's position: point guard. Jaylen Brown is listed as questionable with a right hip pointer.

Whatever mindset elevated their play in Game 3 needs to be a big factor in Game 5. Irving has played at this level since he entered the league and just because Lebron James is on the team doesn't mean Irving is the sidekick. Him and Thomas are not the only players that have experience with hip injury this postseason either. Avery Bradley did as well as he could on Irving, but Game 5 is going to be about the Celtics rotation on the backend of the defense to help alleviate the pressure of the one-on-one defense. Boston does well when their backs are against the wall and Game 5 is no exception. They have already done it twice. They were blown out, as they left 44 points unanswered for.

The Boston Celtics were knocked out of the playoffs, following a 135-102 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

National Rail said: "As Manchester Victoria is located near the arena, the station has been evacuated and all lines closed". My wife said, "I need to lie down". "Please stay away from the area", Greater Manchester Police officials said on Twitter .

Standing in their way, however, is a feisty Boston Celtics bunch that has played surprisingly well without Isaiah Thomas, and very almost stole both games in Cleveland.

With now facing a 3-1 deficit, Boston has effectively seal its fate in these Eastern Conference Finals. The Celtics luck did not last long after that. Only Jae Crowder (4-of-7) connected on more than one three-pointer in Game 4. "We want to enjoy this and live in the moment because this isn't a given to get to the Finals". We watched dominance through 10 games in the East and 12 games in the West. Instead, they were defeated 112-99 on Cleveland's turf. Cleveland also won the fast break points battle, 16-4. There is no shutting them down for an entire game, but the Celtics have seen what kind of disaster comes if they do not shut them down for at least portions of the game.

Overall, the Celtics exceeded expectations this season. They are 5-0-1 against the spread on the road in the NBA Playoffs, including two covers at Boston. The team that heads to the finals could be decided tonight. He told Celtics coach Brad Stevens that he intends to get "one or two more opinions" before a course of action is set.

The Cavs got another scare in Game 4, as they trailed the Celtics by double digits early on.
