Burling up-beat after Team NZ capsize

Team New Zealand under enormous pressure from Oracle Team USA in their final America's Cup round-robin clash

Emirates Team New Zealand capsized in high winds at the start of an America's Cup semi-final race against Britain's Land Rover BAR on Tuesday, with the six-man crew all accounted for despite some being catapulted into the water.

Some of the crew were thrown overboard, while others, including Burling, remained trapped in the vessel as it teetered upright while they waited for the safety boat to arrive.

The first crew in each of the two semi-finals to win five races progresses to the challenger final and whoever wins that takes on defending champions Team USA for the America's Cup itself.

"We were really pleased with the way we got away in that first race", said Emirates Team New Zealand skipper Glenn Ashby". But, while many would forgive Peter Burling for appearing down and out after the nosedive that could dent his team's chances, the Kiwi helmsman looked more determined than ever to get back out on the water.

"The damage looks a bit horrific to the untrained eye, but when you go down it looks like it's not too bad", said Blackwell.

"It's a tough day for the team to lose two races like that so early on in the piece, considering what's at stake here", Ainslie said.

In the other semifinal, SoftBank Team Japan beat Sweden's Artemis Racing twice to take a 3-1 lead.

While fast and exciting, the foiling catamarans are nearly always sailing on the edge. Although it remained to be seen just how extensive the damage was, he said, "we feel like we'll be able to fix it and get back into action".

Hastings was asked if Netflix wants to leverage its subscriber base for something other than the company's core content offering. But I think even if they unwind the Title II rules, my guess would be that the net neutrality principles are still followed".

"The most important thing is that everyone is okay on Emirates Team New Zealand after their capsize".

Analyst Chris Steele said aside from the drama, the lost race and damage to the boat, Team New Zealand's secrets will also have been revealed.

Ainslie's Land Rover BAR crew pulled up on the third of seven legs after the camber arm in the high-tech wing sail broke.

With the wind levels challenging both teams in the pre-start sequence, Dean Barker's SoftBank Team Japan timed their approach to the line better than their rivals and seized the early advantage.

Although Team New Zealand won race 3 they capsized in race 4 handing Land Rover Team their 1st point, but Team New Zealand still lead 3-1 in the series.

"We will get the boat back to 100 per cent at some stage and get back out there, but right now we are assessing the damage".

But all four teams were challenged by the conditions, with gusting winds causing at least some degree of damage to every boat.
