A Thunderbird F-16 was involved in an incident Friday while practicing for an OH air show, according to multiple reports.

The Wright Patterson Air Force Base said its firefighters responded alongside the airport's fire and rescue team.

There was a "mishap" while a plane was on the ground, said Staff Sgt. Tabatha McCarthy with the Air Force Thunderbirds public relations office.

The U.S. Air Force confirmed an F-16 Fighting Falcon was involved in a "mishap" upon landing at the airport at about 12:20 p.m. ET.

'Emergency services are on the scene.

It is not known at this time if anyone was injured in the incident.
