Taylor Swift Brings Back Her Albums On Spotify Plus Other Streaming Services

The fact that streaming services will suddenly become flooded with previously unavailable Taylor Swift hits at the exact same time Katy Perry's trying to get her new album heard? Apple ultimately changed its policies, and Swift allowed her music to be streamed from the service. Paid streaming services are now the largest contributor of music sales in the US.

But today, as she celebrates 1989 selling over 10 million copies, her music again becomes available on streaming sites - which just might diminish Perry's complete dominance of the streaming market today.

Some people were unimpressed with Swift's timing - coming on the same day as Perry released new album Witness.

"Bad Blood" - Her bad blood with Spotify has ended - is Katy Perry next? Up until now, Apple Music has been the only place to listen to her music.

"I find it to be shocking, disappointing, and completely unlike this historically progressive and generous company", Swift wrote of the decision.

"No one has asked me about my side of the story, and there are three sides of every story: one, two and the truth", she said in the June issue of NME.

The superstar singer-songwriter has not yet announced a follow-up album, though it's been rumored that she's been recording in Nashville.

The pair have had "Bad Blood" for years. Another said: "I aspire to be as petty as taylor swift releasing her discography for streaming the weekend katy perry's album drops", and one other weighed in: "This is way more than just a beef. this is sabotage".
