Ann Coulter Is Enraged With Delta For Allegedly Giving Away Her Seat

Delta Airlines

Conservative commentator Ann Coulter launched an aggressive tweetstorm Saturday against Delta Airlines after the company allegedly gave her seat away - at one point referring to the airline as a "suck-a-" company that "spends all this $$$ on attractive aircraft & then hire Nurse Ratchets as flight attendants & gate agents".

Coulter, a prominent supporter of U.S. President Donald Trump during his campaign, tweeted vociferously about the incident, which took place on a three-hour flight from New York's LaGuardia Airport to West Palm Beach in Florida on Saturday.

Then Coulter took aim at the "dachshund-legged" passenger who took allegedly took her seat, and Delta staff who she likened to "stasi" policemen.

The airline responded to Coulter's tweets with a statement on Sunday, promising to refund the commentator's $30 for pre-booking the seat.

Conservative commentator Ann Coulter took to Twitter to express her displeasure with Delta Airlines about a seating dispute. And perhaps Coulter could have realized that moving over three seats for a short-haul flight isn't that big of a deal, and if she wanted more pampering she could have flown first class.

"Her actions are unnecessary and unacceptable". "We are aware of the customer's comment and we're reaching out directly to her to address the complaint", he said. "Each of our employees is charged with treating each other as well as our customers with dignity and respect". They look exactly as happy about being ambushed by a camera-wielding Ann Coulter as you might expect.

5-year martial law 'too long — AFP spox
Even if the administration is keen on extending military rule, the decision would still rely on recommendation from the military and police.

Social media users were quick to call her out on Sunday night for making such a big stink about it.

A spokesman for Delta told International Business Times on Saturday that Coulter was in the same extra room row, although she was given a different seat.

Did Coulter overreact? Should a company still be held accountable to offer consumers what they paid for?

"So glad I took time investigate the aircraft & PRE-BOOK a specific seat on @Delta, so some woman could waltz at the last min & take my seat", Coulter tweeted.

"Suckiest @Delta moved me from my PRE-BOOKED SEAT & gave it to some woman, not elderly, child, or sick". "When there was some confusion with seating assignments during boarding, a flight attendant stepped in and asked that all of the passengers move to the seats noted on their respective tickets". Following the flight, crew members reported that there were no problems or concerns escalated.
