Tom Cruise Injured Filming High-Altitude Stunt For 'Mission: Impossible 6'

The extent of Cruise's injuries aren't known.

Tom Cruise was injured during a building-jumping stunt on the set of "Mission Impossible 6".

However the 55-year-old appears to come up short on the landing and hits the side of the building.

In video obtained by TMZ, Cruise is attached to a harness while making the leap.

He then crouched down with his palm to his forehead, assessing the amount of pain he was in and chose to limp back to the edge of the building as if nothing happened. Media outlets have reached out to reps for both Cruise and Paramount Pictures but there's been no official statement yet.

Cruise was tethered when he performed the stunt.

David Ellison told Collider: "What Tom is doing in this movie I believe will top anything that's come before".

However the courageous jump is misjudged as the 55-year-old slams into a building and is momentarily left hanging in the air. The film will also star Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Ving Rhames, Michelle Monaghan, Henry Cavill, Angela Bassett, and Alec Baldwin.
