Game developer CD Projekt RED has released a new video celebrating 10 years of The Witcher video game series.

It's easy to forget just how great The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was when we first played it.

In terms of video games 2007 no joke was an interesting year: when I saw the light, BioShock, Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Crysis, the Orange Box compilation from Valve, and many other notable works. But without spoiling anything else, here it is.

Celebrating 10 years of The Witcher as an incredible RPG series, developer CD Projekt Red has released a very cool and sweet video featuring a number of familiar faces, and places. While minor design choices keep it from being absolutely ideal, The Witcher 3 will go down as one of the best games of this generation of consoles. Back then, the original The Witcher video game was released on PC. Almost four years later, players were treated to The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings; almost a year later, the series finally move to console with the Xbox 360 launch. The game has gone so far as to win acclaim in Japan, where JRPGs typically win the market. It showed us that a game which was "nearly" flawless was possible to make.

CD Projekt Red has previously stated that Wild Hunt will mark the end of its time adapting The Witcher.

The video's YouTube comments section reflects the effect Witcher 3 had on many people.
