OJ Simpson Dying To Eat Steak & Buy New iPhone After Prison Release

OJ Simpson to eat steak, get iPhone after expected release from prison next week

O.J. Simpson could be back in Miami-Dade soon, but Attorney General Pam Bondi doesn't want authorities in Nevada to force Florida's taxpayers to foot the bill for hosting his parole.

He was initially acquitted of killing ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman, before being found liable for their deaths in a civil court.

Members of Simpson's inner circle say the plan is for Simpson to eventually move to Florida, where state law, experts say, provides him additional protections, making it easier to keep his house and other assets. His lawyer told AP that there's "no doubt" that he'll be spending his post-prison days in Florida.

Winston added that if Simpson is ultimately allowed to live in Florida upon his release, Bondi asked for him to be supervised closely with an electronic monitoring bracelet and to be tested for drugs regularly, among other conditions.

"That is a concern of mine, and it really is the ultimate concern of the Nevada Department of Corrections because they're the ones who are going to have to properly get this thing done with Mr. Simpson", LaVergne said.

After nine years in prison for armed robbery, Simpson apparently plans to move eastward upon his release. The former National Football League star, actor, and TV personality will become one of the 4.6 million people in the United States under "community supervision", bound by multiple restrictions placed on people who had been convicted of a crime-but he will have several significant advantages over most.

However, a repeat of the current "Grand Coalition" with the Social Democrats is not the chancellor's only option. The traditionally left-leaning Greens were seen winning around 9.5 percent and the Left Party some 9 percent.

The date was determined after the 70-year-old former football star was granted parole in July after serving a minimum requirement of nine out of 33 years in jail for a 2007 botched armed robbery in Las Vegas.

"Orenthal Simpson stated, 'I could easily stay in Nevada but I don't think you guys want me here, ' Bondi wrote". In February 1997, Simpson was ordered to pay $33.5 million in damages.

His release could come on the first business day after October 1 because state probation officials don't handle releases on weekends, said Keast, who said she intends to provide video to the public of the release.

"The specter of his residing comfort in Florida should not be an option", Bondi wrote.

Talking to CNN about his release, a long time friend, Tom Scotto who also attended Simpson's parole hearing in the summer said that Simpson is not going to hide after he is free from prison. Officials have said previously that they must accept the transfer if Nevada's request meets the criteria.
