Steelers receiver Martavis Bryant still seems pretty unhappy

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown celebrates with JuJu Smith-Schuster afters scoring during the first half of an NFL football game against the Cincinnati Bengals in Pittsburgh Sunday Oct. 22 2017

Sunday after the team's win, Bryant got into more controversy after someone screenshot his comments on Instagram and he began ripping his teammate JuJu Smith-Schuster for no apparent reason.

It's not quite so amusing anymore.

It came after the 25-year-old had caught just one pass for three yards during the Steelers' 29-14 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.

"JuJu is no where near better than me, fool", Bryant commented. Instead, Smith-Schuster got roped into the Martavis Bryant drama when the disgruntled Steelers wideout said in an Instagram comment that "JuJu is no where near better than me".

"I just want to be happy, whether it's here or it's somewhere else", Bryant told the network.

"I feel like it is necessary for me to talk to everyone", Bryant said. "At the end of the day, like I said, we all got to focus on the bigger picture". "If I was in his shoes, I put myself in his shoes". The last thing they need is one of their own players making it more hard because he's not getting the ball enough.

The Steelers, 5-2, will head to Detroit in Week 8 for a Sunday night matchup against the 3-3 Lions. "It's obvious that we still got more ground to cover with him because were having a conversation about him that's not football related". He's a great player, great athlete.

"We've invested a lot in Martavis since we drafted him".

So far, the Steelers are not interested in dealing Bryant.

Bryant, who missed the entire 2016 season due to a season-long suspension, is open to staying in Pittsburgh if his role can expand. So here's to hoping someone does the right thing and turns it in.

Smith-Schuster brushed off the criticism on Monday, but Tomlin chastised Bryant for publicly airing issues he believes should be kept in-house.

When Roethlisberger did look deep for Bryant down the left sideline in the third quarter, Bryant appeared unaware the ball was on its way until it was out of reach. That wasn't the face, Heyward said, of someone who was anxious. But we still got a ways to go.

Bryant previously denied a report about an earlier trade request, which we now see wasn't totally true.
