Could Flynn be the next member of Trump's orbit to face indictment?

Special counsel Robert Mueller has reportedly collected sufficient evidence to charge USA president Donald Trump's former national security advisor and his son in the investigation into alleged collusion between Trump aides and Russian Federation.

Flynn, who was sacked after just 24 days on the job, was one of the first Trump associates to come under scrutiny in the federal probe now led by Special Counsel Robert Mueller into possible collusion between Moscow and the Trump campaign.

If Flynn is charged, he would be the first individual to have worked for the Trump presidency accused of wrongdoing.

NBC reported that federal investigators will speak to several witnesses over the next few days looking at the elder Flynn's lobbying efforts, whether he laundered money and whether he lied to investigators.

Former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort and his longtime business associate Rick Gates were indicted early last week on 12 counts that include, conspiracy against the United States, conspiracy to launder money, unregistered agent of a foreign principal, false and misleading FARA statements, false statements, and failure to file reports of foreign bank and financial accounts. "Let them do that", Ryan said, adding that he's said this "all along".
