Democratic Strategist Calls for Al Franken to Resign

Second woman comes forward to say Al Franken inappropriately touched her

Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) received a statement of support Tuesday by women of "Saturday Night Live" over one of two allegations of sexual misconduct.

Franken's office says that the senator has no recollection about his interaction with Menz, but it said that he felt sorry that she came away from their interaction feeling disrespected.

"I take thousands of photos at the state fair surrounded by hundreds of people, and I certainly don't remember taking this picture", he said.

Menz said her own encounter with Franken, which she described as "uncomfortable", took place two years after he was elected to the Senate. Franken issued an apology, but he has still faced calls for him to resign and a potential ethics investigation. "It was wrapped tightly around my butt cheek".

In a telling part of CNN's article, Menz says she would not have come forward if Tweeden had not done so first.

The fact that it was Menz's husband who was taking the picture just adds to the story. "It wasn't around my hip or side", Menz said. According to Lindsay and her husband Jeremy, Franken pulled Lindsay close for the picture. When she reconnected with her husband moments later, she told him: "He totally grabbed my butt".
