You're the president, why don't you act like it?

LaVar Ball downplays Donald Trump's role in UCLA freshmen's release

When asked about Trump's assistance by ESPN, Ball remarked, "Who?"

Ball continued: "If you helped, you shouldn't have to say anything".

Trump has boasted that he played a role in their release and that he deserves a thank you from the players. If there's anything the former reality star loves more than golfing at Mar-a-Lago, it's firing off ill-thought out tweets.

Late night comedian Seth Meyers blasted President Trump on Monday, calling him a "thug" and a "wannabe dictator", after the president said on Twitter he should have left a UCLA basketball player in a Chinese jail.

On Nov. 15 he tweeted that he wondered if the three Bruins would thank him. And you're the head of the U.S.?

UCLA freshmen LiAngelo Ball, Cody Riley and Jalen Hill, who had been detained in China for the past week on suspicion of shoplifting, landed in Los Angeles on Tuesday evening and addressed the media on Wednesday before being indefinitely suspended by the team.

"Did (Trump) help the boys get out?"

Morocco Outclass CIV To Seal World Cup Spot, Tunisia Through
DR Congo were the only team still with a chance to catch Tunisia, but they fell short despite a late 3-1 win over Guinea. Needing just a point at home to already-eliminated Libya to assure their progression, they labored to a goalless draw.

'I would NEVER' call Rocket Man Kim Jong Un 'short and fat'
The strike force plans to conduct air defense drills, sea surveillance, defensive air combat training as well as other maneuvers. That test would be the 15th ballistic missile test since Trump took office, and the first since September.

Strong 7.3 Magnitude Earthquake Jolts Western Iran, Damages Villages
An natural disaster of magnitude 7.2 has hit the border region between Iran and Iraq, the US Geological Survey ( USGS ) says. Extensive damage has also been reported in countless villages , which have also seen telecommunication and power outages.

Donald Trump contiues to show why he is the most insecure president in the history of the United State. "I had some people who had boots on the ground that knew the situation when we first jumped on it". "Let [Trump] do his political affairs and let me handle my son and let's just stay in our lane".

Well, LaVar appeared on CNN last night and proceeded to return fire at the celebrity-in-chief.

Although Ball refused to recognize Trump's intercession and expressed no gratitude, his son and the two other UCLA players arrested in China for shoplifting each thanked the president for his help and goodwill.

Meyers also slammed the president for saying he should have left LiAngelo and his teammates in jail.

The profanity-laden rant then shifted from Marshawn Lynch to LaVar Ball, another victim of Trump's Twitter timeline. I don't know. If I was going to thank somebody, I probably would thank President Xi.

He added, "I say thank you when I see something".

And while Lonzo Ball is in the NBA, the Ball child that's now dominating the news cycle is LiAngelo, Lonzo's younger (but not youngest) brother, who plays basketball at UCLA.
