Chad Morris Reportedly to Be Named Arkansas Head Coach After 3 Years at SMU

The Razorbacks have been mired in mediocrity since back-to-back double-digit-win seasons in 2010-11 in Bobby Petrino's final years with the program. The bowl berth this year is the first since a 2012 Hawaii Bowl win over Fresno State.

Morris is a native of Edgewood, Texas, about 60 miles east of Dallas, and attended college at Texas A&M, where he earned a degree in mathematics in 1992. He and his wife, Paula, have two children, a daughter, Mackenzie, and son, Chandler. He took over a team that was 1-11 and will leave one that has a winning record.
