Bluehole offers a look at PUBG's new desert map: Miramar

PlayerUnknown's Battle Grounds Teases New Truck for Desert Map

Called Miramar, the developers say this is a harsher environment compared to the foresty island of Erangel that Playerunknown's Battlegrounds has been exclusively using until now. The screenshot below shows the Aquarail off the coast of the desert landscape of Miramar, offering up yet another look at the PUBG desert map we're so tantalizingly close to checking out for ourselves in PUBG 1.0's third wave of testing.

According to the PUBG blog, "the unique terrain and dense urban areas of Miramar will create a new Battle Royale experience where the old strategies may no longer work and new tactics are required".

"Meet Aquarail, a new vehicle coming to Miramar and Erangel", reads the tweet, showing off a slender two-person jet ski with a small motor on the back.

The PUBG Xbox One version officially launches on December 12 through the Game Preview program.

Here players will find checkpoints and barriers, the town also has various overlooks, so players attempting to enter will need to look out for enemy players controlling the way in. Both sides of the town have overlooks, socareful players should scout first, before charging into town.

Chumacera is the husk of Miramar's once thriving textile industry. This looks like a prime location for loot, which usually makes it incredibly risky.
