The total eclipse will be visible from the western United States and Canada across the Pacific Ocean to most of Australia and China, as well as northern Polar Regions. "The super blue moon will pass through Earth's shadow and take on a reddish tint, known as a blood moon", Nasa said.

Earth's shadow begins to cross the upper left of the full moon January 31, 2018, as it sets in the west behind the East Point Lighthouse in Cumberland County, N.J. Plus, this will be a total lunar eclipse, more dramatic than the usual partial eclipse.
