Given the fantastic critical reception and abundance of goodwill in the lead-up to the release of Marvel's Black Panther, it was widely expected that the film would perform well at the box office - but few could have predicted just how well. The Black Panther first entered the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2016, in Captain America: Civil War. Andrien Gbinigie, a community and product marketing manager for Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed series and a major Black Panther fan also voiced his support for the game adaption. It's received an A+ CinemaScore, the only Marvel film to have done so besides 2012's "The Avengers".
