England launch new 2018 home and away kits ahead of World Cup

Super Eagles skipper Mikel Obi and teammate Alex Iwobi have reacted to the new Super Eagles World Cup kit designed by sportswear company Nike.

At least, the "unlucky" all-white away design has been done away with and what we now have is a funkier kit to be worn away from home.

The website did a ranking of the kits of all the 19 countries who have unveiled their World Cup kits and picked the Nigerian jersey as the best from the lot. The sleeves are white underneath black patterns and shorts are plain white while The home shirt is all-green, this one darker than usual.

Brought to life by Nike, the team behind the jersey is however said to have been Nigerian. "When football is on, everything stops".
