Rumor: Mario Party 11 coming to Switch next year

Nintendo Switch

The 2018 entry in the long-running Call of Duty franchise - not due out until November, mind you - will be Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 according to industry insider Marcus Sellars as recently reported by Game Rant.

Again this shouldn't be that huge of a shock but it's is a big deal that a Nintendo Switch version is coming which says Activision is excited to work with the ground-breaking hybrid system.

Activision usually reveal Call of Duty to the press at the start of March so it's entirely possible that Marcus has seen some early promotional material.

Sellars has some accuracy with his leaks, having predicted the "Dark Souls" remaster some time ago along with how it would have a port for the Switch.

Following the release of last year's World War II, the Call of Duty series is officially back to it roots.

Alex Smith traded by Chiefs to Redskins, sources say
Cousins played under the franchise tag the last two seasons in D.C. and was set to become a free agent this off-season. In Kansas City's 27-20 win over the Eagles in Week 2, Smith was 21 of 28 for 251 yards and a touchdown.

Russian team banned from Winter Paralympics, athletes to compete as neutrals
Beucher claimed the IPC had been influenced by external pressure to create a way in which Russian athletes can compete. The IPC said in a statement that "it is maintaining the suspension of the Russian Paralympic Committee (RPC)".

What makes this news more interesting is the mention of a Switch release. It was followed by another prediction that Japanese gaming company will introduce the Labo accessories as well as the Nintendo Direct date for January. The game will be set in modern times and will be "boots on the ground", meaning that there won't be any futuristic technology like in other entries in the series.

Most people believe that the FPS title will have a trailer available by E3 2018, which will confirm the leaked details regarding its setting and gameplay.

Mario Party 11 will come to the Nintendo Switch sometime in 2019, according to a new rumor, pinning one of the most successful franchises in the second year of the console's lifespan.

It is also no surprise if the next "Call of Duty" does come to the Switch given how popular the device is.
