S. Korea to resume joint military drills with US

A DATE for the start of delayed USA and South Korean military drills will be announced soon after the Paralympics end next month, Seoul's Defence Minister said today.

According to the New York Times whom reported quite recently, within recent years, North Korea has sent out roughly more than 5,000 support staff and an estimated 1,700 hackers.

Unification Minister Cho Myoung-gyon on the same day told a parliamentary committee he has no plan to oppose the resumption of Korea-U.S. military drills after the Olympics.

It was the first trip to the South by a member of the North's ruling family dynasty since the 1950-53 Korean War, which ended in an armistice, technically leaving the two Koreas at war. "And we also shouldn't forget that we were there to honor General Kim [Jong Un]".

Military tensions often run high during the exercises, with the North carrying out its own counter-drills against what it condemns as rehearsals for a war.

North Korea issued a tirade through its state-run news agency as it reminded the world they are ready for war and blasted the U.S. for attempting to drive a wedge between the two Koreas.

Fresh rocket sirens ring throughout Gaza border communities amid rising tensions
Palestinian groups in Gaza hailed the attack on Israel as "heroic", vowing not to remain idle in the face of Israeli "aggression". Palestinian news agency Wafa said missiles aimed at three locations east of Gaza City damaged homes but caused no casualties.

But the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang have seen Moon and Kim's younger sister cheering a unified Korean women's ice hockey team, enjoying a concert and dining together.

And in a familiar warning, Kim warned the United States of the "catastrophic consequences" of a war with the North.

In April 2015, South Korea's spy agency claimed she would likely give birth to a child the following month. "I hope the inter-Korean talks could lead to talks between USA and North Korea and also denuclearization talks", said Moon.

"There is no daylight between the United States, the Republic of Korea, and Japan".

Talks over the Winter Olympics have failed to budge the North in giving up their nuclear weapons as they threaten both the USA and South. I don't think this really contests as to their "hacking" army but rather than just, laborers doing illegal things on the internet. "I am sure that Mr. Abe and Mr. Pence were happy to have each other to talk to while all this other theater was going on". And a common variable between them all is that they are usually centered overseas from North Korea, where internet access is actually decent (what a surprise) and keeping one's self anonymous, is a lot easier.

John Nilsson-Wright from Chatham House says Vice President Pence looked "flat-footed" in terms of worldwide diplomacy. "Yet, behind the scenes, perhaps, the relationship is more stable than it appears-especially in the face of this major propaganda coup by North Korea".
