Celtics forward Jaylen Brown leaves game after hard landing

Exciting Boston Celtics youngster Jaylen Brown was lucky to walk off the court after falling awkwardly in his side's National Basketball Association clash against Minnesota Timberwolves.

Marcus Morris added 17 points for the Celtics, whose good vibes were tempered a bit by the hard landing Jaylen Brown took on his back after a dunk late in the third quarter.

Silence spread across Target Center with Timberwolves fans and all the players and officials distraught, as Brown lay on the ground motionless with medical staff hovering around his limp body.

"We've just got to take advantage of the moments, continue to get better every game and utilize these games to really play our best", he said. Many of his teammates noted how rarely they'd seen a fall that severe after a dunk, making his ability to get up afterward all the more impressive and heartening.

Given the way his arms clenched immediately after the fall, it would be a surprise if Brown did not suffer a concussion.

"I probably had one of the better looks [at the fall]", Celtics big man Al Horford said. Brown was later ruled out for the rest of the game.
