Stormy Daniels Sues Trump, Claims He Never Actually Signed Their "Hush Agreement"

Daniels has said she met Trump at a celebrity golf tournament in July 2006 in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, and they began a sexual relationship that lasted for several years.

The lawsuit filed in Los Angeles by Stormy Daniels - whose real name is Stephanie Clifford - mentioned that Cohen had "surreptitiously initiated a bogus arbitration proceeding" against Clifford and within the last week used an "improper and procedurally defective arbitration proceeding hidden from public view". Cohen signed the document the same day.

And she said she didn't know whether Trump had spoken to his lawyer, Michael Cohen, over the past week.

The suit contains a copy of the nondisclosure agreement that shows a blank line where "DD" was supposed to sign. According to court documents Avenatti made public over social media, Clifford and Trump had multiple sexual encounters from the "summer of 2006" to "well into the year 2007".

According to the lawsuit, Clifford was inspired to step forward with her account of at least one tryst with Trump at the Beverly Hills Hotel shortly after the Access Hollywood tape was released.

"Neither the Trump Organization nor the Trump campaign was a party to the transaction with Ms. Clifford, and neither reimbursed me for the payment, either directly or indirectly", Cohen said in a statement at the time.

Gold prices dip as dollar remains strong on Powell's comments
Shares of the company, which sells dental and animal health products, dropped $7.49, or 23.7 percent, to $24.09. The yearly increase in the PCE was flat at 1.7% for the third month in a row, below the Fed's 2% target.

The suit alleges Cohen has tried to keep Clifford from talking about the relationship as recently as February 27, 2018.

"We intend to pursue our recourse in the context of arbitration as agreed to by the parties and continue to categorically refute the claims alleged by Ms. Clifford and her counsel", Rosen said in a statement to Fox News.

Both Daniels and Trump denied any affair in statements to the Journal in January.

The lawsuit seeks a court order asking that the agreement is invalid and that Clifford "is not bound by any of the duties, obligations or conditions" listed in it. "On information and belief, despite having detailed knowledge of the Hush Agreement and its terms, including the proposed payment of monies to Ms. Clifford and the routing of those monies through EC, Mr. Trump purposely did not sign the agreement so he could later, if need be, publicly disavow any knowledge of the Hush Agreement and Ms. Clifford".

"It's time for her to tell her story", Avenatti said, adding that "there's no question the president knew about" the non-disclosure agreement at the time. President Trump's outside attorney, John Dowd, declined to comment on the lawsuit.

The president has never addressed the alleged relationship with Clifford publicly, and the White House has side-stepped questions about it with spokesperson Raj Shah telling members of the press he had never asked the president about the alleged relationship.
