BioShock Revival Rumored To Be Underway At New

The fact a new BioShock game is now in development should come as a shock to absolutely no one.

While this lack of communication through official channels is standard operating procedure for 2K Games, a new report on Kotaku has shed a little light on what fans can expect from the fourth entry in the BioShock franchise.

The intel comes via Kotaku, where reporter Jason Schreier uncovered the development of a successor to Bioshock Infinite while researching an article about the development of Mafia III and studio Hangar 13.

Take-Two is never one to be drawn on information regarding unannounced titles. The report doesn't indicate who's leading the game's development, but Ken Levine, the creative director on BioShock and BioShock Infinite, won't be involved: He pulled the plug on Irrational Games in 2014, and is now heading up a new, smaller studio called Ghost Story Games. However, a hand full setup shop in the studio next door and is supposedly working on a yet to be announced BioShock game. Mafia III was published by 2K Games, owners of the BioShock franchise and publisher of all previous BioShock titles.
