Rakesh Kumar later deleted the pictures of the question paper so as to remove proof of his involvement, the police officer said. The two then sat inside a auto, made a small incision in the bundle to take out the economics paper, photographed it and sent a WhatsApp to Rakesh. The teacher put it back in the bundle and resealed it on the day of economics exam and since he was the superintendent, no one suspected him. "We are questioning the trio to see if they took money while spreading the question paper further". "Police also collected certain documents from the school", he added.

"The SIT has interrogated over 70 people, including "WhatsApp" admins, school teachers, ground staff, students and others in connection with the leak".

"It traced the transmission of the leak, ncluding its point of origin and who all were the beneficiaries and finally, on the basis of crucial clues and leads, the arrests were made from Himachal Pradesh", said Upadhyaya. Delhi Police formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) of its Crime Branch to investigate the leak of papers.

Two accused Rishabh, 29, and Rohit, 26, taught mathematics and physics respectively at Mother Khazani Convent School at Bawana.
