Naked Gunman Kills 4 In Waffle House Shooting, Remains At Large

Waffle House shooting

The man suspected of killing four people at a Waffle House in Nashville on Sunday was previously arrested by the US Secret Service for trespassing and being in a restricted area near the White House, authorities said.

Shaw said that after going to a nightclub he had made a decision to stop with a friend early Sunday at a Waffle House.

Authorities discovered two magazines of AR-15 ammunition in a green jacket Reinking left behind. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has added Reinking to its Top 10 Most Wanted List.

He hit the gunman in the head with a door, then wrestled for control of the gun.

The man who wrested the gun away from the suspect in Nashville's Waffle House shooting says he had entered the restaurant just two minutes ahead of the gunman.

Travis Reinking, 29, is accused of opening fire.

Federal and other law enforcement agencies were aware of Reinking "due to previous interactions", Aaron said, but he did not elaborate.

The report claims that nobody at the pool wanted to press charges against Reinking, so the officer wrote the informational report to "show the state of mind" of Reinking.

Reinking is a white man, who stands 6-feet, 4-inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds. The gunman's vehicle was registered to him and was found at the scene, Aaron said. He also complained that people were "barking like dogs" outside his residence, according to a report.

"Reinking was charged with unlawful entry immediately after crossing an exterior safety barrier near the White House Sophisticated", the Secret Service advised Fox News of his arrest.

Jazz crowd taunts Paul George during Game 3
While Sunday's practice was focused predominantly on physical recovery, the Jazz still did film study - as they always do. The Thunder started the second half hot, taking a 63-60 lead on a 3-pointer from Anthony, but again Utah had the answer.

Meghan Markle was meant to be royal: Paula Patton
I think Meghan's dress will be in a delicate lace with very subtle beading, designed with a deep V neckline and long lace sleeve. The first time Meghan's Suits character attempted to walk down the aisle, it didn't end too well.

Busch passes Larson to win at Bristol
Wallace led six laps, the first of his Cup Series career, before finishing 16th, still the high finish by any rookie in the field. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver and 2015 series champion won his seventh career Cup race at Bristol, most among active drivers.

Anyone with information about Reinking is urged to call the Nashville Police Department at (615) 862-8600. Others were wounded, suffering cuts to their faces and bodies from shattered windows. One shooting victim died at the hospital. Two other people were being treated there for gunshot wounds.

Phone calls to an IL phone number for Jeffrey Reinking, the father of the suspect, went unanswered.

James Shaw, 29, is hailed as a hero for wrestling the weapon from the gunman, but he says he was "just trying to get myself out".

For a moment the shooting stopped, Shaw figured the gunman was either reloading or the gun jammed. The gunman then ran away into the dark of the working- and middle-class Antioch neighborhood of southeast Nashville. He recounted what happened during the shooting, saying he felt a bullet graze his arm as he dived for cover.

"I don't really know, when everyone said that (of being a hero), it feels selfish", he told the Tennessean. "I went to church to get past it". He said the "number one thing I could think about was calling my wife and my son".

Of the gun, he added: "I grabbed it from him and threw it over the countertop and I just took him with me out the entrance". He had one hand on it. After the gunman fired a few shots, Shaw Jr. said he noticed that he needed to reload his weapon.

Police have not detailed a motive for the shooting.

A reason for that shooting at a Waffle home in Antioch Sunday morning was unclear, according to police.

What is the reaction to the shooting?

Pat Warner, director of public relations for Waffle House, said: "We are deeply saddened by this tragic incident. We ask for everyone to keep the victims and their families in their thoughts and prayers".
