Dennis Robertson Attended Kawhi Leonard's Meeting With Raptors

DeMar De Rozan thanks Raptors fans in heartfelt farewell message

"#Comp10 #ProveEm", DeRozan wrote in the post.

On Wednesday, DeRozan posted this on Instagram: "Be told one thing & the outcome another". He said as long as he is in charge of the Raptors, he will do everything he can to celebrate DeRozan's Toronto tenure.

Not to mention, DeMar DeRozan, who was sent to the San Antonio Spurs as part of the trade for Leonard, was one of the main reasons why Toronto was such a threat all these years due to his scoring ability.

With Kawhi Leonard now officially a member of the Toronto Raptors after San Antonio's surprising swap to acquire DeMar DeRozan last week, Spurs legend David Robinson revealed how hard it was to communicate with the former Finals MVP during their time together in San Antonio.

Shortly after the trade was reported, the National Basketball Association universe took social media by storm. Ain't no loyalty in this game.

"I had a conversation with DeMar at summer league".

On Friday, Raptors team president Masai Ujiri apologized to DeRozan for leaving him with the impression he would not be traded.

Biggest fans: New Yorkers (surprise!) purchase $101 billion hot dogs each year, which is the most of any state. During Sonic's happy hour (2 4 p.m.), get half-price drinks and slushes and $0.99 corn dogs .

The boos that Kawhi Leonard will surely hear when he returns to face the San Antonio Spurs for the first time may have just gotten even louder.

It has been an emotional week for the 28-year-old and Raptors fans as the cost to acquire Kawhi Leonard means parting with a franchise player who clearly had an emotional connection with the fanbase and the city.

"San Antonio, we obviously have a reputation for taking care of our players, nearly too much, I mean, people criticize us for sitting guys down", he said.

Also from Southern California, Leonard had urged the Spurs to trade him to one of the Los Angeles teams.

He said he was confident Leonard would see that there was plenty to tempt him to stay in Toronto when his contract is up at the end of the season.

"I do acknowledge the fans because they've been spectacular for us and they've been great ... they do have a voice but I have to do my job and what's best for the Toronto Raptors at the time and we feel that this was a risk or a deal we were willing to make and to take", he said. "We have everything here except a championship, in my humble opinion".
