Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson break up, call off engagement


Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson's engagement has officially been called off, according to TMZ.

The two captivated the internet with a whirlwind romance that began in May and led to a proposal just a few weeks later in June. Their engagement has been called off, and the former lovers have also chose to end their romantic relationship.

According to TMZ, the pair made a decision to go their separate ways this weekend after deciding it "wasn't the right time" for them to be in a relationship.

A source gave more details to People magazine saying, "It was way too much too soon".

One Twitter user wrote at the time: "Pete Davidson covered his unsafe woman tattoo, a tweet announcing the breakup with the notes app is coming!"

The couple's split comes at a hard time for Grande, who's been dealing with the loss of ex-boyfriend Mac Miller, who died from an apparent drug overdose on September 7. Davidson and Grande "still have love for each other", the insider said, but their relationship is "over romantically".
