Despite this, negotiations between the United States and North Korea have stalled since the Singapore summit.

But on Saturday, North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Yong-ho blamed United States sanctions for the lack of progress since then.

"Without any trust in the United States there will be no confidence in our national security and under such circumstances there is no way we will unilaterally disarm ourselves first", Ri said. "We fell in love", Trump told the crowd.
