Hudson-Odoi has refused to discuss a new contract with Chelsea, having been offered a five-year deal last summer.

Maurizio Sarri played Hudson-Odoi in three Europa League games in the group stage and the promising forward scored in a 4-0 home win over PAOK.

Bayern Munich remain determined to land Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi and have reportedly now made an improved fourth bid for the teenager. The manager's said that he wants him to stay, and there's a position there.

Chelsea will be desperate to keep Hudson-Odoi on the books, but the lure of regular senior football and a club so keen to acquire his services could persuade him to make the switch.

He's just breaking into the starting 11 at Chelsea and could realistically hold a place for many years to come - but a move to Germany is very tempting to say the least.

Earlier on Monday, Monaco boss Thierry Henry said he regularly speaks to his former Arsenal team-mate but did not confirm whether his club was signing Fabregas. According to French daily L'Equipe, Fabregas and his agent had a meeting with Monaco vice-president, Vadim Vasilyev, on Sunday evening, during which a contract agreement was made between both sides that would see the ex-Barcelona player sign with the French club until 2021.

Sarri added that Chelsea would need to sign a replacement for Fabregas in January but would not comment on speculation linking them with Cagliari's Nicolo Barella.

"I don't know if he is able to play tomorrow because in the last match he had cramp in the calf so he needs to rest I think", Sarri told reporters ahead of Chelsea's League Cup semi-final first-leg clash against Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday.
