Jayme Closs was reunited with her aunt Jennifer Naiberg Smith after the ordeal

Investigators believe Patterson broke into the Closs home near Barron, Wisconsin, in October, killed Jayme's parents and kidnapped her. He's expected to be charged with two counts of intentional homicide and one count of kidnapping.

The suspect, Jake Patterson, is scheduled to make his first court appearance Monday.

Police found James Closs, 56, and Denise Closs, 46, shot dead in their home three months ago. The call lasted for less than one minute before somebody hung up.

Jayme was able to describe the vehicle of her alleged abductor. I just want to go over there, every day to my mom's house and see Jayme. He shot and killed James and Denise Closs and kidnapped Jayme, according to investigators.

The 21-year-old is accused of keeping the young girl captive for the next 88 days. Prosecutors are preparing a criminal complaint detailing the allegations against Patterson.

For the past couple of months the community of Barron and beyond has been praying for a safe return of 13-year-old Jayme Closs.

After the chilling murders, police were unable to recover a single fingerprint.

"She's a survivor. Yes".

Photos of the Wisconsin cabin where a man suspected of kidnapping Jayme Closs allegedly held the teenager show an unfinished ceiling, a three-car garage and an empty box of adult female diapers in the trash.

Authorities have said they don't believe Patterson crossed paths with Jayme's parents there.

Almost three years ago, Patterson worked for one day at the same meat products facility where Jayme's parents worked - the Jennie-O Turkey Store plant in Barron. But investigators have ruled it out as a link, labelling it as being too tenuous. We all miss them both dearly now they know there Jayme which was there whole world is home with family!

"That there is a potential of somebody out there who commits acts of violence and takes your children". Patterson was arrested without incident.

Smith is now acting as the 13-year-old's legal guardian and shared a touching post to the "Healing for Jayme Closs" Facebook page assuring that she and the family will do everything to support Closs's healing.

He is believed to have been unemployed and didn't attend any of the local businesses with enough frequency for anyone to recognise him.

Patterson has no criminal history in Wisconsin.

But many questions abound.

"Jayme is talking. She communicated with our team up there", Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald said on Friday.

When deputies arrested him, he was out looking for Jayme, Fitzgerald said. Her family insists they don't know the man.
