Ariana Grande has tweeted of her joy after being picked to headline Coachella 2019 - after her occasional sparring partner Kanye West pulled out of the iconic festival. Grande will perform on the Sunday, the last day, of Coachella's three-day festivals on April 14 and April 21.

Coachella dropped the big names booked for this year's event one by one on its Twitter account.

Besides giving the Coachella its most in-depth look to date, YouTube's agreement allows its Music and Premium subscribers priority access to tickets when the box office opens tomorrow at 11 am Pacific Time.

Actor/rapper Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino has been announced for the music festival. Maybe this is the alter-ego sendoff he was waiting for? Closing out the weekend is Bad Bunny, Khalid, CHVRCHES, Playboy Carti, Blood Orange, Kaytranada, Pusha-T, John Hopkins, Rico Nasty, Soccer Mommy, Iceage and Men I Trust.
