The Kings are receiving Alec Burks and a second-round pick from the Cavs as part of the deal.

"Cleveland and the Houston Rockets remained engaged late Tuesday on a deal that would bring Brandon Knight and the Rockets' first-round pick to Cleveland in exchange for Alec Burks, two league sources told The Athletic".

Knight, Chriss and the first rounder are headed to Cleveland.

The 26-year-old Barnes, who has a $25 million option for next season, played in the Mavericks' 99-93 home victory over the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday. The Cavaliers will also continue to look elsewhere as they seek to rebuild a team that now stands at 11-43 on the year. They've essentially turned Korver into three drafts picks.

The Cavaliers will entertain other offers prior to Thursday's 3 p.m. deadline, but they traded Hood and Burks, which were the two players most-likely to be dealt. Burks' contract expires this summer.

Transfer: Ozil turns down move to PSG
It is not only the goals they are shipping, but the injuries have taken a toil for Unai Emery's men who have the third worst defensive record in the top ten.

This marks the third time in four days the pair were traded, together.

Wojnarowski announced on Twitter Wednesday that the trade will send Kings' small forward and shooting guard Iman Shumpert to the Rockets.

Houston will also reportedly send a protected 2019 first-round pick to the Cavaliers as part of the deal.

Shumpert is averaging 8.9 points per game this season while shooting 38.2 percent from the field and 36.6 percent from the 3-point line. Shumpert is a free agent after this season, so they procure a pick rather than risk him walk away for nothing.
