Suspect in killing of Nipsey Hussle urged to surrender

Los Angeles police say they are searching for 29-year-old Eric Holder suspected of fatally shooting rapper Nipsey Hussle. A stampede broke out at a vigil for Hussle on Monday night sending 19 people to hospitals

According to Police Chief Michael Moore, the cops are hunting Eric Holder for gunning down Nipsey and killing him on Sunday (March 31) and injured two of his associates.

Reps said they called the number and a woman answered. "I ask you to surrender", he said.

The police chief and the president of the city's Police Commission had been scheduled to meet with Hussle on Monday to discuss the relationship between the police force and the inner city.

The woman who drove the getaway vehicle for the man who shot and killed Nipsey Hussle is facing serious charges too if she doesn't turn herself in soon. Mayor Eric Garcetti said Hussle's killing occurred during an upsurge of gun violence that followed significant decreases, and announced plans to deploy an array of resources to roll it back. A man brandishing a gun caused a panicked stampede. Fire officials said two were critically injured, one of whom was stabbed and another of whom was hit by a vehicle. Two other people were wounded in the shooting, police said. - He is the only suspect who has been publicly identified by the LAPD in the shooting death of Nipsey.

The plan was part of Hussle's broader ambitions to remake the neighborhood where he grew up and attempt to break the cycle of gang life that lured him in when he was younger.

Hussle had earned a Grammy nomination for best rap album this year for "Victory Lap", his major-label debut.
